Kawasaki one of the most aggressive machines available and with a good engine management device you can tame the beast, smoothing out the throttle and unlocking even more potential. Secondary throttle plates restrict the bikes immensely for emissions and sound regulations.
With our ECU flash, it provides a flashing to optimize the early rev limiters, timing retards, air injection systems, secondary butterfly’s and lack of fuel, in the low rpm and part throttle conditions. Typical performance increases start at 10hp to the wheel but we have seen upwards of 40hp to the tire on the new ZX-10R models with an additional 2000rpms of useable power. All Kawasaki’s come lean in the low rpm range from the factory including the Vulcan series and all respond immensely from a balanced and proper air fuel ratio given with a PowerCommander or other engine management software and a custom dyno tune.
The Gen 4 and 5 ZX-10R and ZX-10RR are both one of our favorite bikes to flash. It picks up so much power at the top because from the factory the secondary throttle plates close off up top even with the throttle wide open! So we go in and fix that, tune it up and bam, now the power climbs all the way to red line. We’ve done testing with the KRT packages including cam swaps etc as well that push it over 200rwhp!
The ZX-14R is also another phenomenal bike that once flashed, is absolutely astonishingly powerful.
There is a lot of competition on the market for dyno tuning and performance parts in the zx14r world, especially with the latest generation coming out in the last few years. We worked directly with Woolich racing on helping develop technology and great ecu flashing products for this bike. We have current ecu flashes for every exhaust configuration on the market which will never require power commander to tune.
We’re able to remove all restrictions, map for specific fuels, on an individual gear basis, etc. We’ve confirmed our tunes, with real time data loggers at the Mojave desert and Bonneville salt flats at over 200mph. We developed our own flash for this bike, it is not a copy and paste of another companies work, as other companies have been doing. Our numbers, are our numbers, developed on our dyno’s, with hours of our work.
