We have the ability to tune most KTM motorcycles by plugging straight into the factory ecu, this allows us to change everything that your ecu controls, giving you a better running bike from rim to rim.
We have the cables and software to tune any fuel injected KTM’s with TuneECU software. This gives us the ability to individually tune each cylinder and gear for timing, fueling, based on rpm’s, TPS and load, rev limits, speedometer calibration, closed loop function and full air injection controls.
KTM’s run a very powerful closed loop operation. The keys to tuning KTM motorcycles is turning the O2 sensor(s) off, eliminating a lean running, self tuning bike. By adding the necessary fuel to the low rpm ranges we substantially increase the throttle response, ride ability, smoothness and horsepower. With the v-twin model KTM’s, a cylinder balance is necessary to obtain proper performance, we have the ability to sample air fuel readings through the factory tuning ports in the head pipes when true dual exhaust is not applicable. These principles apply to all fuel injected KTM’s.
On the new 1290 Super Duke R we’ve seen over 100ft lb tq to the rear wheel with full exhaust and tune.
