Individual Cylinder Tuning
On motorcycles with "Big Twin" engines (Harley Davidson, Indian, Victory, etc) the front and rear cylinders have independently adjustable fuel and ignition systems that need to be tuned separately from each other to "balance" each cylinder. With the Power Commander and Power Vision tuning systems, we can perfectly dial in each cylinder's fuel and ignition (when adjustable) mapping. This is absolutely essential to making your engine perform at peak efficiency and performance, because the front and rear cylinders often require VERY different mapping from one another due to differences in cylinder operating temperatures, intake diameter/porting variances, and exhaust routing/design!
Our dyno tuning process will allow your motorcycle to perform as efficiently and powerfully as possible. Our tuning will not only improve performance, but lower cylinder temperatures and improve the overall longevity of your engine by optimizing the air:fuel ratio of the internal combustion process! The individual cylinder tuning process generally takes between 2 - 3 hours on our dyno. Once purchased, please contact us via phone or email to schedule a tuning appointment on the dyno. We always welcome customers to be present in the dyno room during the tuning process!
Note: The individual cylinder tuning process requires both the front and rear cylinder "sections" of the header to be accessible by our wideband sensor/sniffer. With some stock header configurations, the factory equipped catalytic converter does not allow for sufficient access to one/either of the cylinders for an accurate air:fuel sample. Please call for more information if your Big Twin still has factory headers/head pipes installed.
